The students are quietly working on an experiment when a sealed glass specimen container suddenly cracks. A dark infected substance escapes and attaches itself to the young woman near her shoulder and neck. She stumbles backward in fear as dark veins slowly spread beneath her skin, traveling across her neck and face. Her fingers begin twitching, her body develops violent tremors and her skin becomes pale and clammy.
